Tom Dukes and Dhillon Ramkhelawan Obtained a Final Order of Dismissal For a Pain Management/Orthopedic Physician Assistant
Tom Dukes and Dhillon Ramkhelawan obtained a final order of dismissal for an Ocala pain management/orthopedic physician assistant on January 31, 2025. The allegations against our client were that she missed an abnormal finding of a renal mass on a lumbar spine MRI which then spread into the patients lungs over the next several months and becoming a Stage 4 metastatic renal cell carcinoma. The case was vigorously defended with strong support from experts from numerous specialties inclusive of orthopedic surgery, pain management, urology, oncology and pathology. Plaintiff’s counsel filed a voluntary dismissal with prejudice after we made it clear there was no evidence of negligence on the part of our client as she was never made aware of the abnormal finding on the lumbar spine MRI throughout the time she treated Plaintiff.
