On October 11, 2024, Ralph Martinez and Dhillon Ramkhelawan obtained a final order of dismissal for a cardiologist and a nurse practitioner in a medical malpractice action in Columbia County. The claims against our clients were that they performed an inappropriate cardiology evaluation of the patient before he was discharged from the hospital, which ultimately led to his death. The case was vigorously defended with strong nursing and cardiology expert support and Plaintiff filed a voluntary dismissal with prejudice once it was clear there was no evidence to support the allegations against our clients.
