On November 15, 2024, the Fifth District Court of Appeal issued an order affirming a summary judgment that we previously obtained on behalf of our client, an orthopedic surgeon.

On November 15, 2024, the Fifth District Court of Appeal issued an order affirming a summary judgment that we previously obtained on behalf of our client, an orthopedic surgeon. During the underlying litigation, we argued that Plaintiff’s expert was not qualified to render standard of care criticisms against our client. The trial judge agreed and granted our motion for final summary judgment. The Plaintiff appealed the judge’s ruling. Our office handled the appeal as well. Wilbert Vancol argued the case before the Fifth District Court of Appeal.
