On April 15, 2025, Wilbert Vancol successfully argued a motion to dismiss on behalf of a hospital in Duval County. Plaintiff asserted a negligent security claim regarding the protocols utilized by hospital in its psychiatric ward. Plaintiff asserted he was assaulted by another patient at the hospital. After considering the arguments raised by Mr. Vancol, the Court entered an order dismissing the case with prejudice.
