Dhillon Ramkhelawan and Mary Jaye Hall obtained a final dismissal with prejudice for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Brevard County

On November 20, 2025, Dhillon Ramkhelawan and Mary Jaye Hall obtained a final dismissal with prejudice for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Brevard County. The case involved a patient who suffered a soft palate perforation during the intubation process in a wisdom teeth extraction procedure. We filed our Motion for Summary Judgment arguing that our client was immune from liability under Florida law because he was under the direct supervision of his supervising anesthesiologist and that it was the supervising anesthesiologist who handled both the pre-anesthesia care and the intubation at issue. Plaintiff then voluntarily dismissed the case against our client prior to the hearing on our Motion for Final Summary Judgment.
