The patient, who had advanced lung disease, had an arrest event. Among the issues was the cause of the arrest event and whether our client could have reasonably predicted or prevented it. The jury found there was no negligence by our client. The case involved experts in pulmonary medicine, internal medicine, infectious disease and critical care medicine.
