Philip F. Moring

In 2007, Philip graduated with High Honors from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Religious Studies. In 2010, he received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law with Honors, and is a member in the Order of the Coif. During his tenure in Gainesville, Philip was very active on the Florida Moot Court team, serving on the Executive Board and the Constitution Revision Committee. Of the five competitions in which he participated, Philip received three Best Oral Advocate awards, including the one presented to him by all seven sitting justices of the Florida Supreme Court in the Florida Moot Court Team’s 2009 championship in the state-wide Moot Court competition.

In the summer of 2009, Philip served as a legal extern for the Gainesville City Attorney. Philip concentrates his practice on the defense of medical negligence claims, and is an advocate for animal rights.
