Philip F. Moring
In 2007, Philip graduated with High Honors from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Religious Studies. In 2010, he received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law with Honors, and is a member in the Order of the Coif. During his tenure in Gainesville, Philip was very active on the Florida Moot Court team, serving on the Executive Board and the Constitution Revision Committee. Of the five competitions in which he participated, Philip received three Best Oral Advocate awards, including the one presented to him by all seven sitting justices of the Florida Supreme Court in the Florida Moot Court Team’s 2009 championship in the state-wide Moot Court competition.
Since joining McEwan, Martinez, Dukes & Hall, PA, Philip has concentrated his practice in the defense of medical malpractice, automobile, trucking, and construction law cases. He also acts as counsel for the Orange County School Board and the City of Orlando. He is active in the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, speaking and publishing several times each year on topics such as: Arbitration, Punitive Damages, Opening and Closing Arguments, Tender, and updates on the law.
When not working, Philip enjoys doing triathlons, boating, hiking, and spending time with his family.
Philip became a Partner at the Firm in September, 2015.
